Redesigning a Cinema Ticketing Experience
Redesigning key screens of a cinema ticket app with a dynamic color system and reusable UI components.
Role: Personal Project
Scope: UI, Design Thinking, Components, Figma
Timeline: 1 month
Collaboration: None

The challenge
Many cinema ticket applications prioritize functionality over clarity, resulting in cluttered seat maps, inconsistent interaction states, and visually disconnected screens.

The challenge was to redesign key moments of the ticket purchase journey — movie selection, seat selection, and digital ticket presentation — creating a cohesive, intuitive, and visually engaging experience.
Goals
The main objective was to improve clarity, scalability, and interaction consistency across key screens. Specifically, the redesign aimed to:

Improve visual hierarchy
Clarify seat selection states
Create a scalable component system
Implement design principles
Experience Highlights

Focused on strong visual hierarchy to help users quickly compare movies and session times.
Strong visual hierarchy to support quick comparison and clear decision-making.
Movie Selection
Clearly defined interaction states for fast and intuitive seat selection.
Seat Selection
Clean, scannable layout prioritizing essential information.
Digital Ticket

What I Explored
This project allowed me to experiment with interaction states, component scalability, and color-driven UI design to create a more engaging cinema experience.
